What is Law New?

The word law new refers to the introduction of a new law or the revision of an existing law. It also may be used to contrast the date of origin or character of one thing with the corresponding attributes of another thing of the same kind or class. A committee report is a written statement by a legislative body’s staff analyzing the purpose and scope of a bill that is to be recommended for approval. The report must include a section-by-section analysis of the bill, identify any changes in or repeals of existing laws, and set forth any executive communications regarding the bill.
